Previous Experience Needed: Saturday Free Beginning Knitting Class, or the ability to cast-on, knit, purl and cast off.
Description of Class: Are you ready to move beyond swatches or scarves? Do you drool over hat, sock or sweater patterns? Learn the necessary basics: increasing, decreasing, determining gauge, finishing, blocking, using circular or double pointed needles to knit in the round. Reading patterns and charts will be discussed. Bring your questions!
Materials for Class: One skein worsted weight yarn. Lighter colors show stitch definition better.
Needles for Class: 1 pair of needles (size 6,7,8 or 9). Corresponding circular needle and set of double points will also be helpful
Special Instructions: Come ready to have fun and aquire a life-long addiction to knitting!
